Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 16-week assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. The role requires NBRC credentialing and CPR certification, with a preference for 18 months of respiratory care experience, especially in critical care.

You will provide care on a 12-hour day shift, 36 hours per week, in a travel capacity. This travel position offers weekly pay, housing options or allowances, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by NBRC and CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and policies.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional relations and communicate with staff, patients, and families.
• Instruct patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately.
