Qualifications

• Georgia-licensed RRT per NBRC (RRT credential)
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory care experience
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Availability for 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting
• Ability to participate in a 13-week travel assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, adjust ventilator settings, and assess patient response.
• Manage airway support, including humidification, suctioning, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance techniques.
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis; interpret results and communicate findings to the care team.
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses; collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists as part of the care plan.
• Participate in rounds and ensure adherence to patient safety and infection control standards.
