Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires assessing and treating patients with breathing disorders during 12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30, with an every-other-weekend schedule.

Minimum credentials include a degree in Respiratory Therapy, active WI RCP license, NBRC RRT/CRT, BLS, and at least two years as a staff therapist, preferably with Level 1 trauma center experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current WI license in good standing with the State License Board (RCP).
• NBRC RRT or CRT certification.
• COARC accredited school for Respiratory Therapy.
• Two years minimum experience as staff therapist.
• BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders.
• Respond to patient needs with timely respiratory care interventions.
• Participate in shift duties and on-call rotations.

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• WI RCP required. Pending license at time of submittal is accepted.
• Two years minimum as staff therapist required
• Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar size hospital required
• COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy required
• NBRC RRT or CRT required
• BLS required - AHA ONLY

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 19:00 - 07:30
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holidays required
• 1 on-call shift every 6 weeks scheduling period
• Assignment length option of 13 or 26 weeks
