Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist in Upland, CA to provide patient care on a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, contributing to care plans and collaborating with physicians and nurses in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist, current CPR/BCLS certification, and strong communication with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families
