Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role involves providing respiratory therapy, evaluating patients, and collaborating with physicians and nurses to implement care plans.

Requirements include proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist, current CPR/BCLS, and strong communication with staff and families. Travel position with shifts of 8 hours, days.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Performing timely and accurate documentation.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
