The position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC credentials, a valid state license, and current BLS certification. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Treat patients through chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery and airflow.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on medication use and equipment.
