Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for an exciting travel contract in Northern California. The role offers a 13-week term with shifts available during the day, and opportunities to extend.

You will work in a skilled nursing facility, providing respiratory care and patient education across multiple locations. Active California RRT license (or ability to obtain) and a collaborative, positive team mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Team player with a positive attitude and dedication to patient care.
• New grads accepted.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care and treatments to patients with respiratory illnesses or conditions.
• Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and techniques for managing symptoms.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
