• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• At least 1 year of experience.

Responsabilités

• Aerosolized drug delivery and chest film analysis.

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Night Shift locates at the healthcare provider's facility. This position involves providing pulmonary care for critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role requires independence in managing ventilators, nitric oxide therapy, and arterial line sampling, with the ability to perform patient assessments and implement respiratory care plans.

Job Details

• Position Type: Full-time, night shift (6PM 6AM), 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RT or RRT license in the state of employment, BLS certification via American Heart Association, ACLS certification via American Heart Association, PALS certification via American Heart Association, at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of ventilators, oscillations, nitric oxide therapy, arterial line procedures, ability to work independently in NICU; experience with adult ICU and cardiac surgery patients preferred.
• Responsibilities: Manage airway interventions including intubation, ventilator setup and management, aerosolized drug delivery, chest film analysis, blood gas collection, EKG analysis, documentation, and equipment maintenance. Attend all C-sections and participate in emergency response protocols. May serve as shift leader or team leader; advanced practice skills such as pulmonary function testing and waveform analysis are a plus.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable floating between facilities, demonstrating adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical settings. The position involves responding to emergencies such as code events, managing airway devices including BiPAP and CPAP, and participating in hospital surveys.
