MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role requires NBRC credential and CPR certification, with 36 hours per week on a night shift (12-hour blocks).

Qualifications

• NBRC credential and CPR certification are required.
• 18 months of respiratory care experience is preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain and promote good customer relations with patients, families, and facility staff.
• Provide instruction to patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
