Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Traveler to provide essential respiratory care to patients of all ages at a supportive rural healthcare setting in Saint Johnsbury, VT. This assignment is a 42-week contract with a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, educate, and support patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary needs, delivering oxygen therapy, nebulizer

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of respiratory therapy experience; two years preferred.
• Experience in acute care, critical care, and emergency care strongly preferred.
• Current Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license required and NBRC RRT credential

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, mechanical ventilation, and airway management.
• Perform cardiac and diagnostic testing, including ECGs and pulmonary function testing.
• Maintain equipment and clinical readiness for patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and test results.
