Job summary

SriMatrix health is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii. This position provides comprehensive care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience, airway management, ventilator support, and emergency respiratory interventions, working the night shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) with three 12-hour shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapy License.
• Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License by assignment start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification.
• Experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Previous travel or acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring for patients across all age groups.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support systems.
• Perform advanced airway management and respiratory procedures.
• Participate in emergency response situations, including CPR and code events.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding respiratory care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy recommendations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
• Ensure compliance with respiratory care standards and patient safety protocols.
