Job description

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Osage Beach, Missouri. The assignment begins on 06/08/2026 and consists of 36 hours per week on a 3×12‑hour night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• At least 2 years of work experience.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification; BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Compassionate and sensitive demeanor, essential for the profession.
