American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires at least 2 years of RT experience, Wisconsin/compact licensure, and a travel contract history, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities include providing skilled respiratory care in a hospital setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and possible local float within the same discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Active Wisconsin state license required if applicable.
• Compact license accepted.
• Copy of required certifications must be current and active at time of consideration.
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required.
• Driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required.
• Proof of taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide and manage respiratory care for patients.
• First-time travelers may be considered if minimum experience requirements are met.
• Radius rules apply and vary by facility.
