Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU night shift at a teaching hospital in Ohio. Candidates must have Level III/IV NICU experience, RRT and OH license in hand at submission, plus prior travel experience.

You will manage neonatal/pediatric ventilators, CPAP, airway care, administer MDIs and iNO, with 3x12 hour night shifts and unit-floating as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of Level III/IV NICU experience.
• NICU/Pediatric equipment experience including CPAP, nasal CPAP, oscillator.
• OH license in hand at submission (if applicable).
• Two supervisory references, at least one from a manager or supervisor.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• Prior travel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a NICU and Pediatric Critical Care setting at a teaching hospital.
• Performs neonatal/pediatric ventilator management including CPAP, BiPAP, and high frequency oscillator.
• Performs airway management including intubation assist, suctioning, and tracheostomy care/management.
• Administers medications via nebulizers, MDIs, and aerosol setups.
• Administers Nitric Oxide (iNO).
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30.
• Floating to different units as needed.
• Provide respiratory therapy services to NICU and pediatric critical care patients.

• Candidates who have worked permanently for the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
• 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidates
• No call/no show policies are strictly enforced
