Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Marquette, MI. The position is a travel contract with nights (3x12) and a 36-hour work week, starting 11/23/2026.

The role involves collaboration with physicians, RNs, and other therapists to develop and implement patient care plans. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience, CPR/BCLS certification, and prefer advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS/NALS/NRP).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical/surgical conditions
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Perform timely and accurate documentation
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Teach and counsel patients and families
