Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced respiratory therapist for a travel assignment. Requires adult ICU and critical care experience, active license, and willingness to float between Lake Charles and St. Patrick facilities.

Travel only—live more than 50 miles from the facility; flu vaccination required; no local submissions. Shift times are night hours, with 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CRRT/RRT preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have an active license.
• Role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Travel only, local not allowed; live >50 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

• Pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients; assess and implement respiratory care plans.
• Ventilator management and airway support.
• Emergency response duties (Code Blue/Code White).
• Perform respiratory procedures and diagnostics (ABG, chest films).
• Shift leadership as assigned.
