Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves delivering respiratory interventions, monitoring equipment, and educating patients, with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and join a dedicated clinical team offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Travel experience is preferred for this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under physicians or RRT guidance.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing/cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostics tests such as lung capacity measurements or sample collection.
• Administer respiratory treatments including aerosols and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery and rate.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and families on proper use of therapies and devices.
• Perform other duties within CRT scope.
