• Travel may be floated to an area of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs

Detailed Description

A. EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
• All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract

B. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Three (3) years of consecutive full-time staff RT experience in all phases of respiratory therapy with a minimum of two (2) years acute care experience including adults, children, and newborns prior to any travel assignments required
• Experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred

C. OTHER

• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start while the end date remains fixed, resulting in a shortened contract
• Travelers will be required to float to other areas within skillset based upon operational needs
