Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Butte, MT. The role covers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. Start date 11/09/2026.

This travel assignment offers housing support and competitive pay, with licensing reimbursements and benefits. As part of the Respiratory Team, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses and other therapists to implement patient care plans and ensure safety and quality in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with patients, families and staff.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Performing timely and accurate documentation.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us to provide quality patient care during this COVID 19 Crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Shift: 3x12 Nights

Requirements

Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
