Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Respiratory Care Practitioner for a travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. Start date 11/27/2026 with an 18-week duration, 36 hours per week, shift 12 hours days and nights.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Illinois RCP license, NBRC CRT, and AHA BLS certification, plus strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and clinical assessment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• AHA BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and clinical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Perform respiratory assessments, administer respiratory treatments, assess ventilator patients, obtain and analyze blood gases.
• Document procedures and treatments in the EMR; collaborate with physicians and the respiratory care team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
