Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Powell, Tennessee. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift and calls for acute care experience.

The RT will provide direct patient care, perform respiratory and cardiology modalities, document care, and maintain equipment while collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• RRT or CRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records/documentation.
• Calibrate, assemble, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
