MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fairfield, Illinois. Start date 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week, nights, travel employment.

You will provide respiratory care per physician orders and participate in patient care planning. Requirements include NBRC credential and CPR certification, plus ~18 months of respiratory care experience, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC is required
• CPR certification required
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established procedures
• Participate in development and implementation of patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
• Maintain professional communication with management, staff, patients and families
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
