ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Oregon, OH. The role requires night shifts (12 hours) and a 36-hour workweek, with the flexibility typical of travel staffing.

The RT will provide expert care focusing on respiratory therapy, patient transport, and education at discharge, under minimal supervision. A valid Respiratory Therapy license and current certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Respiratory Therapy license and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physician-prescribed respiratory treatments using ventilatory equipment and devices.
• Monitor oximetry and capnography per policy.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning as patient needs.
• Carry out arterial punctures and assess ventilation effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and patient responses.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient care and treatment efficiency.
