Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Brighton, Massachusetts. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) and every other weekend/holiday coverage. You will assess and treat patients with respiratory needs in a trauma-capable facility.

Candidates need an RRT credential, MA Respiratory Care license, and related certifications (BLS, NRP). Previous NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• RRT certification
• MA Respiratory Care license
• NRP
• 3+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility
• NICU Level 3 experience required
• Adult critical care experience required
• Familiar with lung protective ventilation
• Participation on Code Blue team
• Able to make ventilator decisions based upon patient assessment and laboratory results

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders
• Provide respiratory care in a travel assignment at a local health care facility in Brighton
• Manage ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and labs
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
