Qualifications

• NBRC credential required and CPR certification.
• 18+ months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established procedures.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional communications with management, staff, patients and families.
• Instruct patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
