Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Dickson, Tennessee. The position offers 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a 13-week duration starting 11/09/2026.

The role requires NBRC credential and CPR certification, with preference for 18 months of respiratory care experience, ideally in an ICU setting. Travel compensation includes weekly pay and housing options. This is a travel contract with one of our top healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by NBRC.
• CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional relations and communicate with staff, patients, and families.
• Provide instruction to patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
