Qualified candidates hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy and NBRC certification. Travel shifts are 12 hours at night, with a 12-week assignment and a 36-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and technology.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology related to respiratory care.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and respond effectively to changes in respiratory status.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties by reviewing history and tests.
• Respiratory Care: Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy and ventilation.
• Equipment Management: Set up and monitor ventilators and related devices.
• Emergency Response: Respond to respiratory emergencies with prompt interventions.
• Documentation: Record assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
