Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. The role is a travel position with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, starting 11/09/2026.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to deliver respiratory care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, implementing treatment plans, managing endotracheal tubes when needed, documenting promptly, and supporting continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NALS/NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients.
• At least 2 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Performing timely and accurate documentation.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us to provide quality patient care during this COVID 19 Crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists.
