Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska. The RRT will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders across units.

Assignments include 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and floating across all units. Requirements include an accredited degree in Respiratory Therapy, CRT or RRT, state license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, ER/CCU and NICU Level 2 experience, and EKG proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• CRT or RRT certification is required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders across units.
• Provide respiratory care and patient education as part of the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• CRT or RRT certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Experience in ER/CCU
• NICU Level 2 experience
• EKG experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700
• Weekend requirement: both
• On-call requirement: both
• Floating required across all units
