American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Rehab RN for a 13-week inpatient assignment in New Mexico. The role requires an active NM or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent rehab nursing experience.

BLS is required; ACLS/PALS are preferred. Certifications must not expire within 30 days, and travel staff must meet site screening including fingerprinting. The RN will work day shift 6:30a–7p on a 10-bed inpatient rehab unit with a 1:5 nurse–patient ratio, floating to Swing, Med/Surg, and

Qualifikationen

• Active NM or compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of recent rehab nursing experience.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months.
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers.

Aufgaben

• Inpatient rehab unit with Swing Bed and Med/Surg floating as needed.
• Day shift schedule, 6:30a-7p.
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on a 10-bed unit.
• Floating required to Swing, Med/Surg, and Stepdown units based on facility need and RN scope.
• Call required, varying with census.
• Uses MedHost EMR.
• Provide general rehab nursing care in collaboration with therapy staff.
• Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for assigned patients.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures and administer medications within RN scope.
• Promote patient independence through education on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Any scrub color permitted.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered.
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
