Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position in an acute care setting. This assignment is scheduled for 16-26 weeks, primarily working day shifts. The role involves providing respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including ICU and emergency department floors, with experience in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) and electronic medical records. Candidates must demonstrate current certification and recent clinical experience, and be flexible to work a varied schedule including every other weekend and holidays.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 through 01/31/2027.
• Required Qualifications: NRP certification required upon submission; RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support), AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NICU experience within the last year, clinical experience across ICU and ED floors, and Epic electronic medical records experience from within the past 2 years. All specialties previously worked must be well documented in each employment entry.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment for 16-26 weeks with no block scheduling.
  • Bi-weekly orientations scheduled on Mondays.
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
  • Complete work history including bed count, EMR system, and facility type required for submission.
  • Reliable transportation required, personal or rental vehicle recommended, with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
