Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (Respiratory Therapy) in a facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including geriatrics, adults, and some pediatric patients in the emergency department. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality respiratory services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/23/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications, license as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT or CRT), with at least one year of clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in vent management, CPAP, BiPap, nebulizers, arterial line placement, assisting with intubation, vent weaning, extubation, and arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Float: Float to all units at the hospital.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes at least one shift to familiarize with facility and unit flow. Involved with technology such as EPIC electronic medical record system, AVEA vents, Servo U Vent, LPU 1200 Vents, and other unit-specific equipment. Staffing during day shift is 13-15 Respiratory Therapists. The facilitys fatigue policy limits staff to work no more than 60 hours per week or five consecutive 12-hour shifts.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
