Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. The RT will provide advanced respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients in Level 4 NICU/ICU settings, with expertise in high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide.

Position requires BLS, CRT/RRT NBRC credentials, ND licensure or pending, PALS and NRP, plus at least two years of NICU/PICU/adult experience. 36 hours weekly, 12-hour shifts, travel assignment of 13 weeks.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC, ND license (NDSBRC) or willing to apply within 72 hours, PALS, NRP, and a minimum of 2 years recent NICU, PICU, and adult experience.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, every other weekend, holidays with 8- and 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Candidate must have experience with ventilator management down to micro preemies in a level 4 NICU, including high frequency ventilation such as Jet & HFOV, nitric oxide, high-risk deliveries, and gestational ages 22 weeks and above.
• Additional Information: The role involves complex procedures like arterial punctures, blood gas analysis, ventilation management, airway clearance, intubations, decannulation, extubations, and inter-hospital patient transport. Equipment used includes Epic documentation, Hamilton G5 & C1, V60, Airvo, Philips CoughAssist, Nitric Oxide, and various high-frequency ventilation devices. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and communicate effectively within a fast-paced environment. Orientation includes lab training and preceptor shifts.
