TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Enid, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• NBRC‑RRT, BLS, and ACLS required; PALS and NRP may also be required in some areas.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
