Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services across various patient populations including NICU, MICU, Peds, Adults, and Geriatrics within the healthcare provider's facility. The position requires flexibility to float between different specialties and settings, supporting Emergency Department and inpatient units.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (AHA), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC, stable license, minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level II NICU experience, comfort with deliveries and initiating Cpap, experience with Peds in the ER, and the ability to assist with intubation.
• Additional Information: Must be comfortable floating throughout the hospital and possibly to sister facilities located 10-14 miles away. Responsibilities include performing ABGs (radial or brachial), respiratory treatments, and managing respiratory equipment such as Drager V500, Hamilton, ReVel, V60s, Vapotherm, and EPOC. The unit operates with a team structure including managers and supervisors, and shifts may require flexibility to fill gaps in staffing. A minimum of 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation is provided, including ICU and NICU/General training.
