Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position is essential in providing respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy processes and techniques.
• Maintain and operate respiratory equipment with a focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Required Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), consideration given to Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Professional state license is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.

Schedule Details

• Work Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.
• Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday.

Assignment Length

This position is a 13-week assignment starting in December, designed to cover a maternity leave. Training will be provided prior to the start of the assignment.
