Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, Idaho. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, providing critical care and routine respiratory services to patients in a travel setting.

Requirements include one year of RT experience, NBRC RRT credential, a valid license, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS or PALS certifications and other licenses may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC credential as RRT.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in states regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples).
• Treat patients with chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery at correct rates.
• Educate patients and families on medications and equipment.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care.
