Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, starting ASAP.

Travel through the Vibra network with one recruiter from start to finish and enjoy tax-free stipends, license reimbursements, and no mid-contract pay cuts. Requirements include RRT/CRRT licensure in the employment state, active BLS/ACLS, and ability to travel by air and ground.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory Therapy care in a travel assignment across facilities.
• Support acute care, LTAC, and critical care patients as needed.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required.

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required. Documented proof of obtained degrees for regulatory compliance purposes.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)
