Requirements

• NM State Requirement: All Clinical Staff on assignment in the state of New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed.
• Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised. Required for all employees except physicians.
• Each agency needs to have an account with NM DOH. After account setup, compliance teams will enter each clinician into the portal to start the background check process. ORI code: NM920160z.
• A determination code will be generated upon background results so the clinician can move forward with the fingerprint process.
