Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Saginaw, Michigan. This role provides 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, and centers on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care for patients.

Required: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, current state license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of RRT experience, plus experience with ventilatory equipment and airway management.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of RRT experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active.
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment.
• Experience with 12-lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Experience with arterial puncture and airway management (endotracheal intubation).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care for patients.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize treatment plans and outcomes.
• Provide education and ensure safety in respiratory procedures.

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment
• Experience performing 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition
• Experience with arterial puncture
• Experience with endotracheal tube insertion and removal
