Job Description

The Respiratory Care Specialist will provide high-quality respiratory care services as part of a dedicated team in a supportive environment. We are a Level 1 trauma center, which offers dynamic experiences in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using PB980 vents, V60 NIV, and F&P high flow systems.
• Perform bedside bronchoscopy as required.
• Document all patient care activities within Meditech.
• Work collaboratively with a team of respiratory therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Virginia licensure to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the NBRC.
• Critical care experience is highly preferred.
