Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado, on the night shift. The RT will work 36 hours per week (3x12h) in a 240-bed hospital, supporting ED, ICU, NICU, PEDS and Med Surg with Meditech EMR and Hamilton G5 ventilators.

Requirements include minimum 6 months acute care RRT experience, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, CRT or NBRC, and licensure as applicable.

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with recent acute care hospital experience for a night shift travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy unit of a 240-bed hospital
• Unit staffed by 15 RTs with minimum staffing of 3 on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratios average 30-40 points per shift
• Support ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med Surg patient populations
• Uses Hamilton G5 ventilators
• EMR system is Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• CRT or NBRC certification required
• License required if applicable
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• PICU experience preferred
• NICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• Administer respiratory treatments including ventilator setup, assist with intubation, ABG collection, and patient/staff education
• Perform all RT therapies across multiple departments
