Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for our Vascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) on a 14-week assignment. This temporary full-time role offers a pay rate of $70.00 per hour and supports experienced RNs in a busy surgical telemetry environment.

You will care for vascular surgery and transplant-adjacent patients, maintain telemetry beds, and participate in a team focused on patient safety and excellence in care.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or training preferred
• 2+ years of recent acute care hospital RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide care for vascular/telemetry patients in IMCU with patient ratios 1:4 or 1:5
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care

# **Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Vascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) This position is for a Temporary Traveler.****Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care****Sentara Norfolk General Hospital - Norfolk, VA*** **$70.00/hr pay rate*** **Temporary Full Time*** **14-week assignment*** **Day Shift*** **No benefits****What we are:**9 Kaufman is a 24-bed stepdown intermediate care unit that specializes in vascular surgery, telemetry and renal/pancreas transplant patients. 9 Kaufman is part of the Surgical Specialty Team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH). Staffing is comprised of RNs, LPNs, NCPs (nursing care partners) and UAs (unit ambassadors) and CSAs (clinical support associates).**What we do:**Some of 9 Kaufman's vascular surgeries include aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgeries and amputations. 9 Kaufman is an extension of the renal/pancreas transplant team to include the outpatient transplant center and all the nurses on 9 Kaufman are specially trained and can sit for the PCCN certification which we will help you obtain. All the beds on 9 Kaufman are monitored beds. 9 Kaufman cares for a variety of patients with telemetry needs, providing an environment conducive to extensive learning and skill development.
