Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• NIH Stroke Scale experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical/surgical/post-operative patients.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document care plans and progress in charting systems.

We provide quality care to adult medical/surgical patients who are acutely ill or injured. Our 19-bed unit specializes in post-operative surgical patient care. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5/6.
