Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a 14-week, third shift assignment in the IMCU/Stepdown 5RP Neuro unit. This temporary traveler role offers a pay rate of $75.00 per hour.

Requires Virginia or Compact Multi-State license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and at least two years of acute care RN experience in neuroscience settings. No benefits accompany this travel position.

Department/Unit Overview

This Unit provides care to the following types of neuroscience patients: Back and Neck surgical patients Epilepsy patients All neurosurgeries ( brain, pituitary, etc.) Stroke patients ( surgical and non-surgical) Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS NIH Stroke Scale Experience Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
