Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice in Michigan is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for part-time mobile staffing assignments across Trinity Health Chelsea and surrounding locations. The program offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and regional or nationwide opportunities.

You will float across hospital settings, apply nursing process, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high-quality care. Requires RN license in applicable state, 18 months Med/Surg/Tele/PCU and 2+ years in specialty

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure authorized in applicable state(s).
• 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• 2+ years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply nursing process: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Acts independently within license, scope of knowledge & experience.
• Maintains accountability for delegation, choices, and outcomes.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Demonstrates agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Embraces new ideas and cultural differences while managing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

** Only for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area greater than 12 months in order to receive this rate. **
