Job summary

MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center seeks experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice mobile staffing, offering premium compensation and maximum scheduling flexibility. RNs may float across hospital locations and regions, with opportunities nationwide and regionally.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure and accredited nursing education; 18 months Med/Surg, Tele, PCU plus 2+ years in other specialties; ACLS/TNCC/PALS credentials as needed. Weekly gross rate listed for assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties (CC, Surgical, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health).
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Apply standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
