Job summary

FirstChoice, Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, seeks experienced RNs for travel assignments across the system. Positions include Med Surg, Tele, PCU with flexible scheduling and premium pay.

Travel and per diem opportunities, regional and nationwide placements, and diverse practice settings are offered. Locations include St Alphonsus Health System in Baker City, OR, with start ASAP, 13 weeks, 3x12 shifts, Day shift, and a gross weekly rate of $2,628.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of Med Surg/Tele/PCU clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years for CC, Surgical, Matern., ED & Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital locations or regions.
• Apply standard nursing processes: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and delegation.
• Adapt to changing priorities and new responsibilities.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Travel Registered Nurse, RN, Med Surg Tele Position Purpose: Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for premium compensation and maximum flexibility? FirstChoice RNs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program! What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
