Sentara Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Medicine/ Surgical Unit (1 North). The 14-week assignment offers a day shift and a competitive rate of $75.00 per hour for a busy, Magnet-designated facility.

Join a 21-bed Med/Surg unit with 1:5 or 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios, supportive preceptors, and access to comprehensive benefits through Sentara Health.

Competenze

• Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
• Education: Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in Nursing.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing; BLS required; NIH Stroke Scale preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide nursing care on the Medical/Surgical Unit with a 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and coordinate with PCTs.
• Collaborate with the Magnet-designated hospital team to ensure high-quality care.
• Document care plans and participate in unit-based quality improvement.
