Job summary

Trinity Health's FirstChoice program seeks an experienced RN for mobile staffing across MercyOne Genesis Silvis Medical Center. This role supports L&D, Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum, Mother Baby with flexible shifts and premium pay.

Typical duties include floating to multiple departments, applying nursing process, collaborating with teams, and ensuring quality care. Requires RN license, 2+ years’ clinical experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable states.
• Minimum two years of recent clinical experience across specialties.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, etc.) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Apply nursing process: Assess, Outcomes Identification, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Delegate, make decisions, and own outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and differing practice settings.

Position Purpose:

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes

• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

Pay Range:

Pay Range: $31.67-$39.00 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $70 per hour for local. Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
